How to Install bash software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

bash software package provides GNU Bourne Again SHell, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install bash

bash is installed in your system.

Make ensure the bash package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bash *

You will get with bash package name, version, architecture and description in a table
